This Privacy Policy explains how Big Quams Media® ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and tools. We built Big Quams Media® to simplify campus life for Nigerian students, and we treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own.
Account information: when you create an account (email/password or Google Sign-In), we collect your name, email address, gender (optional, used for personalised guidance), and a profile photo if you sign in with Google.
Usage data: CBT practice sessions, scores, subjects practised, daily streaks, coin balances, and referral activity, so we can show you your own progress.
Content you submit: community posts, comments, student spotlight submissions, and messages sent through our contact/support channels.
Newsletter sign-ups: if you subscribe for updates, we store the email address you provide.
Technical data: basic analytics (via Google Analytics) such as pages visited and general device/browser information, used to understand how the Platform is used.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as national ID numbers, financial account details, or biometric data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which applies industry-standard security measures. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Big Quams Media® is intended for students preparing for or attending tertiary education, and is generally used by teenagers and young adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can review and, if necessary, remove the account.
Not yet live. As we introduce Institutional Partnerships, Campus Publisher, and Campus Ambassador programs, some limited additional information (such as institutional affiliation, or content-contribution history) may be collected specifically for participants in those programs.
No such data collection is active today. Before any of these programs launch, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe exactly what additional data (if any) is collected, why, and how participants can control it.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Platform evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.
